I have always found gym environments intimidating so I tend to join them and never go, over the years my fitness levels had got progressively worse and I had started putting on weight from a sedentary lifestyle and hunched over a desk all day.
I really needed some guidance and encouragement without any judgement. I walked past Laz Fitness and looked him up on Instagram. When I saw all the different kinds of people that he trained at all different levels I decided to go for it!
Since training with Laz, I have found him to be super encouraging, attentive and dedicated to MY results.
The mix of strength training and pad work keeps our sessions really fun, I never get bored or unmotivated whereas at the gym I never know where to start and I get bored so easily.

We were looking for a fitness activity that we could do together but still suit our individual requirements. Working with Laz has meant that we still get to train together but we can concentrate on our own individual needs too.
It has been motivating seeing progress in each other’s strength and overall fitness. Laz has helped Pauline alleviate a life long knee problem which doctors and physios have never been able to help with and I am feeling stronger and more confident in my abilities.
Recently, we have been under lockdown because of the covid-19 crisis, Laz offered to switch up our sessions to virtual ones. At first, we were skeptical because we both really enjoyed the pad work but actually it has broken the monotony of staying at home, the workouts have been hard but ultimately rewarding and really importantly have been a laugh at a time when we all really need it!
